By using the Tracelet engine, packages, or documentation, you agree to these terms.

1. Open Source License

Tracelet and its core packages are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software, provided you include the original copyright notice and state any changes.

2. No Warranty

Tracelet is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Tracelet will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or without causing battery drain or crashes.

3. Compliance and Legality

You agree to use Tracelet in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You specifically agree not to use Tracelet for:

• Stalking, harassing, or tracking individuals without their explicit, informed consent.
• Violating the privacy rights of any individual.
• Malicious tracking, spyware, or covert surveillance operations.

If you violate these terms, your license to use Tracelet is immediately revoked.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Tracelet contributors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.
